ADELE is a Java based tool for data analysis and comes with an SAP integration for exporting SAP data into ADELE. This is already published and known.
Starting from version 0.31.x data can be exported to SAP too. Export and import of data use RFC-enabled function modules with a very simple interface. Even ABAP newbies can implement this in minutes.

The next two releases of the Adele preview are available at the sourceforge site. There are many small optimizations done. Some of the known features were redesigned and others are really new. One of main new feature is a split view control for checking data after a basket analysis.
The new preview version 0.9.x of Adele is available for download at the sourceforge project site. The main new feature of this version is the builtin OLAP functionality. All flat datasets can be calculated and explored in the multi dimensional way without long time of waiting and transformating. This can be very useful to understand the data.
