The fresh version 0.15.x is available for download at the sourceforge project site. Some very important features are now “stable” to handle big data in the daily (desktop) business. Big data in this context means “too big for excel”…

This next version of Adele comes with the feature “filtering”. Some small changes are made for JDBC compatibility. Now it is possible to connect to SAP HANA via the JDBC driver (ngdbc.jar).
The first version of the JDBC driver “jdbc4sapnw” was published at the Sourceforge.com project site. The project is in the alpha state but the driver works fine. You can test the driver with the free tool DBVisualizer. Go to the project site and look for screenshots, configuration guides and examples… Enjoy!
As soon as possible a first version of the jdbc driver for SAP NetWeaver systems should be published at the Sourceforge project site. At the moment the driver works fine with DB Visualizer (www.dbvis.com) the reference tool.
There are some issues for use with other tools and the support of “select count(*) from” with sap standard functionality have to been fixed before. At the latest of 18. february (the day when the german DSAG technology days will start in Stuttgart) this first version should be available at sourceforge.
