The new Adele version is ready for download at the sourceforge project site. The last version 0.23.0 is the first portable version. This means Adele runs from the USB stick via the PortableApps.com framework.
The ARFF format is like a standard for data mining programs like WEKA, KNIME or RapidMiner.
The new Adele version introduces a new file export api for plugins. With the new export plugin for the WEKA ARFF Adele can export data from the table view to the ARFF file format. More specialized applications for data analysis or mining can use this data for further analysis steps.
One possible Adele scenario is:
- Import data from external datasources like SAP, SQL databases,… into Adele
- Filter, mix, merge or transform data within Adele
- Export data to ARFF format
- Use more specialized data analysis application
Since the last Adele blog (version 0.15.x) some very useful features were added to Adele. See the change history for more information.
There is an incorrect link in the first line. Instead of sourceforge, it goes to Wikipedia.
Thank you! I have changed the link.
